Laura Ingraham and Ann Coulter Shocking Statements About Child Immigrants

The “Doublemint twins” of conservative brain washing, Laura Ingraham and Ann Coulter, have weighed in on the current controversy facing our nation and while not surprising, both equally turn your stomach.  To be clear the controversy I’m referencing is the Trump administration policy of removing children from the families and placing them in the holding facilities for an unknown amount of time.  The policy has received criticism from those on both sides of the political aisle and has been viscerally attacked by prominent progressive voices.

While most people (not in the Trump administration) have some level of discomfort with, and empathy toward the idea of taking small children from their families and locking them up in cages, or placing them in “tent cities”, or isolating them in an abandoned Wal-Mart turned detention center, some of our more outspoken conservatives have a different view of what is transpiring on our nation’s border.  Laura Ingraham came out on her show last night and said “As more illegal immigrants are rushing the border, more kids are being separated from their parents,” Ingraham said. “And temporarily housed at what are essentially summer camps.”.  Yes ladies and gentlemen you read that correctly, she equated being put in a cage in an abandoned Wal-Mart to “summer camp”.  I never went to summer camp as a kid, but based on what my friends told me, it was a little more kid friendly than chain linked cages and sleeping on the floor with an emergency blanket.

Ann Coulter, not to be outdone, also gave her thoughts on the crisis at the boarder, and she did not make claims of summer camp and rainbows, instead she came out with guns blazing claiming the kids were actors and they were coached.  She begged President Trump not to fall for the ruse equating the children to crisis actors.  Coulter took a New York Times article (which she actually said was an article from the New Yorker, she’s literally making shit up as she goes) that stated kids are being coached on how to ask for asylum, and turned it into the kids are being coached by liberals to cry and pose for the camera to get sympathy.  Coulter has said plenty of crazy things in the past where her credibility even within conservative circles has been questioned and many are dismissing her as an alarmist that keeps herself in the news by saying the most ridiculous conservative leaning statements possible.

Both of these women and their ridiculous statements, along with almost everything coming from Fox News and Breitbart on the topic are indicative of a larger problem that stems from the White House and Donald Trump himself, and that problem is intentional misinformation.  Donald Trump wants a border wall so bad he can taste the brick and mortar used to build it, so he’s using everything at his disposal to get it.  Everything includes innocent kids being locked up like dogs at a kennel.  He’s blaming the democrats for policies that he through his Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kiersten Nielsen are enforcing.  See Donald Trump’s tweets below for an illustration of what I mean.

He’s deflecting from having to answer for the children by saying it’s the democrats and their love of MS-13 as to why we can’t this resolved.  He embellishes and flat out lies on twitter and when in front of the camera which in turn gives the Laura Ingrahams and Ann Coulters of the world the freedom to literally say whatever they want regarding the issue without fear of repercussion.  So if the “double mint twins” from hell want to say kids in cages is the equivalent to “summer camp” and “oh by the way these kids are all actors”, no one bats an eye, because the POTUS has already said that people would rather have a ruthless gang running our streets that help innocent children.
